Why verification is required and how to complete phone and email verification.
Why Verification?
Verification helps keep Wax Trader safe and trustworthy for everyone. It ensures real people are using the platform and helps prevent fraud, fake accounts, and unauthorized activity.
Email Verification
When you create a Wax Trader account, you will receive a verification email. Click the link in the email to verify your address. If you do not see the email, check your spam or junk folder. You can request a new verification email from your account settings.
Phone Verification
Phone verification is required to become a seller on Wax Trader. During seller onboarding, you will be prompted to enter your phone number. We will send a verification code via SMS. Enter the code to verify your number. Phone verification is a one-time process.
Troubleshooting Verification Issues
If you are having trouble with verification:
- Email not arriving: Check your spam/junk folder. Make sure you entered the correct email address. Try requesting a new verification email.
- SMS code not arriving: Make sure you entered a valid US phone number. Wait at least 60 seconds before requesting a new code. Check that your phone can receive SMS messages (not just iMessage).
- Code expired: Verification codes expire after a short time. Request a new code and enter it promptly.
- Still having trouble: Contact our support team for manual verification assistance.
